Barry Diller, the IAC chairman who worked with Rupert Murdoch as CEO of Fox News, released the following statement in defense of Murdoch after a harsh parliamentary report on News Corp phone hacking:
I worked intimately for 8 years with Rupert Murdoch. I never once, not once, in any situation saw anything other than the most honorable behavior in every possible business situation. He is more fit, morally and otherwise, to lead an organization than the majority of those that do.
