The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports:

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett said Wednesday that he will not seek prosecution of the woman who slapped him after he conceded defeat in Tuesday’s gubernatorial recall election.

“That’s life in the big city,” Barrett told reporters.

“I understand people are frustrated,” Barrett also said. “There was a lot of passion on both sides.”
