Baltimore police took to Twitter on Monday to dispute a a Fox News reporter who said he saw a police officer shoot a black man who was running away.
Fox News reporter Mike Tobin reported on-air minutes earlier that he had seen a black man being shot by a police officer.
Below is the tweet from Baltimore police:
The reports of a man being shot at North and Pennsylvania Ave are NOT true. Officers have arrested a man for a handgun at the location

Update: Fox News later issued a retraction saying that nobody was shot and that the reporter had made an honest mistake.
Who are you going to believe? The Baltimore cops or your lying eyes…er…Fox News?
You can never believe anything anyone connected to Fox says. I didn’t need a rebuttal from the police.
Left unsaid: did the police shoot AT the guy? As usual, when the police are coy about something, I expect the worst.
I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle here.
Are you sure this wasn’t Bill O’Reilly? He sees EVERYTHING.
