David Axelrod, senior adviser to the Obama campaign, will to shave his mustache of 40 years if Mitt Romney wins Pennsylvania, Michigan, or Minnesota live on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Axelrod promised during an appearance on the show Wednesday.
“I will come on ‘Morning Joe’ and I will shave off my mustache [of] 40 years if we lose any of those states,” Axelrod said, referring to Pennsylvania, Michigan and Minnesota, blue states where polls have recently shown a tight race for the president.
Host Joe Scarborough promised to grow a mustache if Obama won either Florida or North Carolina.
