An attorney in New York attempted to use President Trump’s recent comment that flipping “almost ought to be illegal” as a defense for his client in a drug case trial, the New York Daily News reported Tuesday. It didn’t work.

Judge Gregory Woods disagreed and prevented Nkrumah from pursuing the argument further to the jury.

“I did not permit the defendant to comment on that presidential tweet,” Woods said, apparently referring to a tweet of Trump’s remarks.

So did the attorney skip right over:
    “My client didn’t do that”
    “Everyone does it”
“My client did it, but it’s legal”

  2. This is just fucking dandy. Criminals are complaining that the goddamn president of the United States said the game board should be tilted more toward them. “Strong on crime” my left hind foot.

  3. Try the “Don’t do illegal shit with shady characters and you won’t have to worry about flippers defense” "

  4. Did anyone tell Giuliani?

No, no, no! It’s strong for crime. Just a little misunderstanding.
