Reports from the ground in Arizona suggested that there was a high voter turnout — with lines that reportedly took some voters nearly 90 minutes to reach their destination — as residents voted in the state’s primary on Tuesday.

    One major reason I love Oregon: mail-in ballots. If Oregon can do this, why can’t all the states? It’s worth the cost.

    I guess this is Arizona’s way of saying you can vote if you can spare 2-3 hours out of your day.

  3. A friend of mine lives in the Phoenix area and he said they did away with local polling stations (at least in Maricopa County) and you could vote at any polling place. Problem is there are fewer polling places without the local stations. Brilliance.
