Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer wants her biggest fans to pony up some cash as thanks for pointing her finger in the face of President Barack Obama during their encounter on an airport tarmac near Phoenix last week.

The Republican governor launched a fundraising drive in the days since the encounter, featuring the famous Associated Press photo that showed her pointing at the president.

“When I met President Obama this week, I really wasn’t pointing at him,” the governor wrote on a special webpage set up to raise money from the incident. “I was telling him, ‘You have ONE more year!’”

The money will be going to Jan PAC, a committee set up so that she can support candidates for federal office.
