Wisconsin protester Arthur Kohl-Riggs, who is challenging Gov. Scott Walker in the Republican primary for the state recall, is set to run a TV ad in a small ad buy this weekend, WisPolitics reports.

Kohl-Riggs is running in part to prevent Republican voters from crossing over into the Democratic primary for mischievous purposes this Tuesday. His TV ad will run on local cable, and is a parody of the Dos Equis “Most Interesting Man In The World” beer ads.

“His beard has been known to cross party lines,” the announcer says, referring to the candidate’s Lincoln-style facial hair. The ad then shows Kohl-Riggs meeting people around the Capitol, and even sliding down a banister inside the building. “Unlike opponents, he prefers to raise money from inside the state. Were he leading the state, it would never lose its way. He is the most interesting Republican in the world.”

Kohl-Riggs himself says: “I don’t always run for governor, but when I do, I run Republican,” he says. “Stay honest, my friend. Vote Art for guv, May 8th.”
