A New York prosecutor has issued a subpoena for documents exploring links between Chris Christie’s administration and bridge officials, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday, opening a new front in the ongoing Bridgegate scandal.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. sought records from the Port Authority for New York and New Jersey last month, according to the Journal. The focus appears to be broader than the George Washington Bridge closures, encompassing the new World Trade Center tower, a transportation hub in lower Manhattan and other projects in New Jersey.

The subpoena seeks correspondences between Christie administration officials and Port Authority officials, according to the Journal.
