TAMPA, Fla. — Ann Romney walked the convention floor Tuesday afternoon with Diane Sawyer ahead of her big primetime speech and interview on ABC World News. Romney was mobbed by reporters as she briefly crossed the convention floor and stopped to chat with Sawyer near the podium where she’ll speak about her husband to delegates here.

The Romney campaign has used Ann Romney to “humanize” her husband and connect with female voters, who remain cool to Romney. Expectations for Ann Romney’s speech are high, and she’s expected to share personal anecdotes about Mitt and his life as a father, husband and church leader.
