Radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones defended one of his former guests, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), in a video posted online Tuesday by taunting a female journalist who questioned the senator about his views on vaccinations as a “whore.”

CNBC host Kelly Evans had challenged Paul for arguing that vaccination should be “voluntary” amid a rapidly spreading measles outbreak. That exchange prompted Jones to slam the Evans as a “media whore” and a “pimp” whose purpose is to “whore out the American people and sell us lies.”

Jones lauded Paul for “daring to say that people have a right to not take vaccines,” adding that he and his father, former GOP presidential hopeful Rand Paul, “know how dangerous vaccines are.”

“They’re not just going to go along with the system and lie,” he added.

Jones also defended Paul’s 2009 appearance in a video on Jones’ website, InfoWars.com, in which he said mandatory vaccinations could lay the groundwork for martial law.

“That’s why I like Rand Paul. This isn’t rhetoric, calling it ‘martial law,'” Jones said. “This is medical martial law.”

“Yes, vaccines are a great medical development,” Jones added. “The problem is that the New World Order runs them.”
