In the little over an hour since Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh entered the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing room, 22 protesters have been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, The Hill reported.

Since the start of the hearing, protesters have been consistently interrupting proceedings, while Democrats push for the hearing to adjourn so they have more time to review 40,000-plus pages of documents that were released Monday evening.

  1. Grassley: This is revenge for Bork.
    He really went there.

  2. Orin Hatch still sounds like a blathering idiot, he’s turning pages so often because the print is so large on them and he still loses his place in his speech and chattering the blandest of boot licking talking points. It’s no wonder the protesters in the room are going off now, Orin has given the room elevator music of the most useless opening remarks ever. He’s just reading, no conviction…inflection yes, conviction no, he’s just blabbering compliments with loose facts and one sided percentages of approval.

  3. Grassley sounds like a farmer trying to argue with attorneys. Because…oh, hey, he IS a farmer arguing with attorneys.
