UK Armed Forces Issued New Glock 17 Handguns - 09 Jan 2013 The MOD has signed a GBP 9m contract to provide the Armed Forces with more than 25,000 new Glock sidearms. Personnel across all three Services will begin to recieve the new Glock 17s in the coming weeks and troops deployed to Afghanistan will be among the first to use the new weapon. Things are getting pretty intense today down in Tennessee. In Rutherford County, Angela Scruggs was arrested after pulling a gun on a man who asked her to slow down in a Walmart parking lot. Meanwhile not too far north in Nashville, Amy Jaudon was arrested after after she pulled a gun and threatened to kill a grocery store clerk at Kroger’s after a confrontation over groceries.
