Our team has touched down and proceeded on its mission in Toronto.
TPM’s Toronto delegation has arrived in the city after a turboprop flight and a brief interrogation about our extremely expensive high tech camera equipment by the kindly border inspection officers. Apparently, while Budget rental car advertises a location in Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport, they are not in the same building or even on the same island as the airport.
(For the record the airport is named for the Canadian World War I flying ace Air Marshal William Avery “Billy” Bishop,VC, CB, DSO & Bar, MC, DFC, ED, LL.D.)
We just disembarked from a ferry that took us to a shuttle that will take us to a place where we can walk to our car. Thanks Budget! The above photo shows Duke just before our crossing of Lake Ontario.
