Good Lord. A member of Benjamin Netanyahu’s new cabinet is trolling President Obama on twitter.

Uri Ariel, Agriculture Minister from the far-right Jewish Home party is now trolling President Obama on twitter about his government’s refusal to budge on settlements or East Jerusalem.

Tweet after the jump …

It is true that Jerusalem and a united Jerusalem is one of the most resonant and binding issues in Israeli politics. It’s the cudgel rightwingers reach for when they are on the ropes in Israeli elections — as Netanyahu himself did in March. But several Israeli governments have openly considered sharing sovereignty over at least parts of Jerusalem with a future Palestinian state. So on both the division ground and the ‘build all over the city” one this is a flaunting of the government’s hardline rejectionism on this issue and resistance to U.S. policy in general.
