Gaza’s Health Ministry says the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli army fire amid mass protests near the Gaza border has reached 37, making it the deadliest day since a 2014 war with Israel.
The ministry says at least 448 Palestinians were shot and wounded Monday, while hundreds more suffered other types of injuries, including from tear gas.
The violence made it the deadliest day in Gaza since the devastating cross-border war between the territory’s Hamas rulers and Israel four years ago, and clouded the opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.
The deaths brought to 79 the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers firing from across the border fence since mass border protests began in late March. More than 2,200 Gaza residents have been wounded in that time by Israeli fire.
Someone here asked a few days ago how many people will die for the lets move the ‘U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem’ stunt. 37 dead, 448 wounded. Expect that number to climb.
Perhaps only to be outdone by the “How many people will die for the Let’s Get Out of the Iran Nuclear Deal” stunt.
Trump foreign policy - There will be Deaths Involved. Or, at best, negative economic consequences and/or loss of American good-standing in the world.
I and likely many others asked that question. There must be video of these shootings. Are they being shown on TV? Is the death toll even being covered?
Trump will tell you the Palestinian’s know what they are getting into.
So this makes what ever happens is fine with Trump.
I’m probably not alone in this feeling and it probably be said many times, but it seems like if Israel didn’t have the US protecting them they never do all this shit as they know they’d be wiped off the face of the earth by all the countries and folks they keep poking with a stick.
