President Donald Trump has a storied political history, having identified as a Democrat, Republican and “no party affiliation” before ultimately switching back to the GOP in 2012.

He and his children have donated to both sides of the aisle, setting up a potentially awkward situation as some of the Trumps’ favored candidates of yesteryear fight for the Oval Office in 2020.
