In the weeks leading up to the announcement of his COVID-19 diagnosis on Sunday, Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani crisscrossed the country as the face of the sitting president’s fruitless legal attempts to overturn election results — and potentially exposed dozens of people while doing so as the country reels from more than 280,000 deaths from COVID-19 thus far.
