Christine Blasey Ford’s allegation that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while they were in high school came to the fore in a matter of days. After the first indication last week that Democrats had a letter making accusations against Kavanaugh, Ford came forward just a few days later. We’ve since learned that Ford started discussing the incident from her teens several years ago and has been considering going public since Kavanaugh’s name was first floated earlier this summer.
