Alleged Capitol Conspirator Didn’t Really Meet With Secret Service, Lawyer Clarifies

Over the weekend, a member of the Oath Keepers militia and a key alleged conspirator in the Jan. 6 attack on Congress claimed that she was really working VIP security for the event, and that she even “met with Secret Service agents.” 

Well, that latter detail fell apart Monday.

In a “clarification” filing, Jessica Watkins’ lawyer said the claimed meeting was more like… a conversation at a security check point.
