Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been quiet during September and October, likely out of sensitivity to the midterm elections and, to a lesser extent, the Kavanaugh confirmation fight. (The DOJ discourages investigators from taking public actions with political implications before an election.) But, as reports from CNN and other outlets point out, the special counsel has been busy, leading to speculation and at least one report that we’re due for something big in November.
