Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was arrested and charged this week with running a sex trafficking ring involving underage girls. That arrest followed reporting by the Miami Herald throughout the spring, highlighting how deeply connected Epstein was to some of the country’s most powerful figures, including President Donald Trump.

Several of their ties to Epstein were simply friendly, with no association with the disgraced billionaire’s alleged sex crimes. Others have been accused of knowing about his behavior.
