Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton led in several states over rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) ahead of Super Tuesday, according to a poll released Sunday.
The NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll showed that Clinton led in Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia — three states part of the Super Tuesday contests.
In Texas, Clinton had 59 percent support among likely voters and Sanders had 38. In Tennessee, Clinton had 60 percent and Sanders 34. In Georgia, Clinton had 64 percent and Sanders had 30, according to the poll.
The survey was conducted by phone from Feb. 15-25 among 381 likely Democratic voters in Texas, 405 in Tennessee, and 461 in Georgia. The margin of error was plus/minus 3.8 to 5.0 points.
TPM’s PollTracker average shows Clinton with 49.1 percent support and Sanders with 42.4.
But there are 12 states in Super Tuesday. Does this mean Clinton is losing in 9 of them?
