Trump Campaign Lawyer Forced To Resign From Elite Club Says He Was ‘Canceled’

Trump campaign lawyer Joe diGenova resigned from the elite Gridiron Club earlier this week after he suggested that a former cybersecurity official should be executed after touting a secure election and rebutting claims of widespread fraud made by President Donald Trump and his allies.

Rage, Rage Against the Dying of the Light

The drama over Trump threatening to fire Bill Barr is so surreal, so absurd, so dark inasmuch as it is really just the pitiful acting out of a terrified, impulsive man raging against the dying of his vast and untrammeled power. We can focus on the craziness of Trump’s turning on Barr, who has abused his office so willingly and fulsomely on Trump’s behalf. But the reality is it simply doesn’t matter. Even that is irrelevant at this point. The administration is over. Barr is just there in a caretaker role. The people have already fired all of them.

Former Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton Would Take COVID Vaccine Publicly To Prove It’s Safe

At least three former presidents would willingly take the COVID-19 vaccine publicly to promote its safety and effectiveness, and hopefully encourage more Americans to trust the shot, CNN reported late Wednesday.

The volunteer effort by Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton — the nation’s three most recent presidents — comes as at least two vaccines pending authorization by the Federal Drug Administration are poised for distribution as early as this month.

The promotion by the former leaders could help boost the vaccine as public health officials continue to reel from the damaging effects of President Donald Trump’s efforts to undermine the expertise of government scientists and health experts in the wake of the 2020 presidential election.

“A few weeks ago President Bush asked me to let Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx know that, when the time is right, he wants to do what he can to help encourage his fellow citizens to get vaccinated,” Freddy Ford, Bush’s chief of staff, told CNN. He said that the former president “will get in line for his, and will gladly do so on camera” after it is administered to priority populations.

Clinton’s press secretary, Angel Urena, similarly said that Clinton would be willing to support promotion of a vaccine by taking it publicly “as soon as available to him,” based on the priorities designated by public health officials.

During an interview with SiriusXM’s Joe Madison scheduled to air Thursday, Obama also said he would “absolutely” take a vaccine to immunize against COVID-19 if Fauci gives it his stamp of approval.

“I may end up taking it on TV or having it filmed, just so that people know that I trust this science, and what I don’t trust is getting Covid,” the former president added, saying he would get the vaccine when its access is widened to those less at risk of complications from coronavirus.

“The fact of the matter is, is that vaccines are why we don’t have polio anymore, the reason why we don’t have a whole bunch of kids dying from measles and smallpox and diseases that used to decimate entire populations and communities,” Obama said.

The comments come as Dr. Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, warned on Wednesday that the nation is heading into a challenging winter, predicting that total deaths from Covid-19 could reach “close to 450,000” by February unless a much larger percentage of Americans take more precautions to combat the spread of coronavirus. The virus exceeded single-day records in deaths and hospitalizations on Wednesday.

Graham Implores Trump Legal Team To Do A Better Job Proving Bogus Election Fraud Claims

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Wednesday night urged President Donald Trump’s legal team to actually provide evidence in their court fights backing up their baseless accusations that the election, which was won decisively by President-elect Joe Biden, had been tainted by fraud.

COVID-19 Deaths and Hospitalizations Set Records In New Single-Worst Day

The United States on Wednesday recorded at least 2,760 coronavirus-related deaths — its worst daily death toll due to the virus since the pandemic began. The staggering figure coincided with the single-worst daily hospitalizations total which topped 100,000 on Wednesday as the nation reels from spiking cases nationwide.

The grim death toll hasn’t been been so high since the deadliest days of the pandemic in the spring when the highest daily tally for deaths reached 2,752 on April 15 according to The New York Times’ count. On Wednesday that number rose to at least 2,760.

The number of hospitalizations — which topped six figures on Wednesday  according to The COVID Tracking Project— are more than double the number at the beginning of last month. The surging hospitalizations likely foreshadow an increase in the number of deaths due to COVID-19 to come in the wake of the Thanksgiving holiday when millions of Americans traveled and gathered indoors.

The news comes as Dr. Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, warned on Wednesday that a difficult winter awaits. He predicted that total deaths from COVID-19 could reach “close to 450,000” by February unless many more Americans begin taking more precautions to combat the virus’ spread.

“It’s not a fait accompli,” Redfield said in an address at Chamber of Commerce Foundation on Wednesday. “We’re not defenseless. The truth is that mitigation works. But it’s not going to work if half of us do what we need to do. Probably not even if three-quarters do.”

Real Voter Fraud Uncovered

A bizarre, hilarious and maddening story out of Georgia. A Florida Republican lawyer from Bay County, Florida is caught on tape encouraging Florida Republicans to claim phony residence in Georgia to vote in the run-offs. He says he’s registering at the address of his brother who lives in Georgia. When local reporter Nicole Carr asked the lawyer, Bill Price, about the video he said that it was all a joke and that of course he didn’t make a bogus registration at his brother’s address.

But she checked and he had registered. Now Price is being investigated for vote fraud by the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

After the joke excuse didn’t pan out Price apparently changed his story and insisted that he made the fraudulent registrations to prove how susceptible Georgia’s voting system was to fraud.

Pompeo Plans Packed Holiday Parties As State Dept Leadership Decries In-Person Gatherings

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his wife reportedly plan on hosting large indoor holiday parties, despite a notice issued by State Department leadership to employees last week advising that “any non-mission critical events” should be held virtually, according to the Washington Post on Wednesday.

However, U.S. event planners were reportedly told that the State Department leadership’s guidance does not apply to the holiday parties hosted by the Pompeos on the 8th floor of the State Department.
