Fox News’ Griff Jenkins intercepted a group of migrants attempting to cross illegally into the United States, according to a segment showing Jenkins’ work that aired on “Fox and Friends” Tuesday morning.
Introducing the segment, Jenkins said “yesterday, we laid in the bushes in wait, and we busted one of those smuggling operations.”
“We seem to have foiled this attempt,” Jenkins said in the report, after a raft full of people crossing the Rio Grande spotted him and turned around.
Jenkins also talked to another group of migrants accompanied by what seemed to be a Border Patrol agent. One woman identified herself as Honduran and said: “You cannot have work there because the criminals always will get your money.”
A Fox News spokesperson did not respond to TPM’s request for comment.

H/t Mediaite.
Well now there’s your border security Trump. Just have Fox News hire and deploy their reporters all along the border.
There must be some kind of way outta here
Said the joker to the thief
There’s too much confusion
I can’t get no relief
The guy probably had his hand down his pants the whole time.
Brown-snatchin’ voyeurism, reveling in the glory of the catch. Not so different from the Large Adult Sons on their trophy-hunting expeditions.
People on inflatable raft notice creepy guy in the bushes and go the other direction. Some people are asking if the carefully placed chyron obscured whether or not Griff was wearing any pants.
Is that Grift Jerkins?
The only worthwhile thing in that otherwise garbage story was the woman explaining in English that’s vastly superior to my like 7 words of Spanish that you can’t have a job in Honduras because the criminals take your money. That’s what these people are dealing with. Illegal immigration is down and likely to go down further, but we could work on helping Mexico and Central America with crime and corruption and it would be even better for everyone. But we have corruption to clear up here first.
