MSNBC host Katy Tur and conservative blogger Erick Erickson got in a heated back and forth Thursday about President Donald Trump’s responsibility for promoting dangerous rhetoric and encouraging violence.
“Let me finish,” Tur said sternly. “Have you ever heard a politician other than Donald Trump say I’m so proud, or give a kudos to another politician who bodyslammed a reporter. Have you heard that from anybody else other than Donald Trump?”
Erickson responded that “both sides” are to blame.
“I think everybody needs to take responsibility for their own actions to say it didn’t get lowered, that the bar did not get demonstrably lower when Donald Trump started running for office, is just not true and it’s offensive,” Tur responded.

Where do they keep getting these fat smug fucks? Is there school somewhere that they groom them for this?
“Have you ever heard a politician other than Donald Trump say I’m so proud, or give a kudos to another politician who bodyslammed a reporter. Have you heard that from anybody else other than Donald Trump?”
Though two names come to mind (Duke and Brooks), good luck to the fact checker.
Um, so what was Katy Tur or her producers thinking when they contacted this doofus to have on the air? Just report the damn news and stop with the idiotic back-and-forth.
So true.
Remember when President Obama called Mexicans “rapists”?
And Sec. Clinton urged her rallygoers to punch protesters?
Or Leader Pelosi praised a Democratic representative for choke-slamming a reporter?
Yeah, me neither.
Whaaaattt? The GOP dude is the literal bothsider and the journalist lady says no, one side is responsible? Right on the teevee? Is she even allowed to do that? Because I’ve been told very categorically that this never happens, or okay it sometimes happens but hardly ever and anyway everyone knows these journamalism types are feckless stenographers. And she pushed back, and they never do that, but right there she said shut up it’s my show and she stopped the other guest and said no, Erick’s going to answer this question. So this seems to be one more example of things not being quite the way some folks like to say. And now everyone’s saying “Well, they shouldn’t have had him on.” FINE. Whatever.
