President Donald Trump signaled to his inner circle that he doesn’t think his legal woes will end when special counsel Robert Mueller’s report drops, The Daily Beast reported Monday.

According to two sources familiar with the conversations who spoke to the Daily Beast, Trump told members of his outside legal team that he wants them to stick around, even after the report drops. Trump is particularly concerned about the Southern District of New York’s investigations into himself and his former close associates.

There’s been mixed reporting in recent days surrounding when Mueller’s report will be handed over to the Justice Department and the new Attorney General William Barr has waffled on how he intends to handle it release. Trump told reporters that whether the report is made public is solely up to Barr.
