President Trump’s relationship with Fox News seems to have gotten back on good terms.

Despite spending Saturday night accusing his favorite network of being “politically correct” by having House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff (D-CA) and former FBI Director James Comey appear on its Sunday morning program, Trump appeared to sing Fox News’ praises by tweeting quotes from various hosts and programs.

Hours before the House’s impeachment vote began, Trump tweeted quotes from “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade and Rep. Doug Collins’ (R-GA) appearance on the morning program.

Trump didn’t just tweet “Fox & Friends” quotes. On Wednesday morning, he retweeted a link that Fox News host Sean Hannity posted the night before regarding Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) denying Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) impeachment witness requests. The President also retweeted Fox News host Jeanine Pirro’s take on FISA court issues.

The President also threw in retweets from Fox News pundits such as Dan Bongino and Byron York.

Trump’s renewed praise of his favorite cable news network shouldn’t come as a surprise given how he previewed the action on the eve before the impeachment vote by tweeting a quote from Fox News contributor Marc Thiessen, a Fox News quote on the FISA court and a graphic of a poll that the network featured Tuesday night (which he would quote-tweet the following morning.)
