During an interview with ABC News on Wednesday, President Donald Trump continued lobbing attacks at the migrant caravan walking toward the U.S.-Mexico border and justified his deployment of thousands of troops to the border by saying he thinks the group is bigger that what’s been reported.
“You have caravans coming up that look a lot larger than it’s reported actually. I’m pretty good at estimating crowd size. And I’ll tell you they look a lot bigger than people would think,” he told ABC.
Trump has a penchant for bragging about the size of the crowd at his rallies and found himself entrenched in scandal on day one of his presidency, when he falsely claimed his inauguration crowd was bigger than President Barack Obama’s.
