President Donald Trump addressed reporters’ questions about Michael Cohen postponing his testimony due to alleged threats from the President and his team, saying that Cohen has “always been threatened by the truth.”

“He’s always been threatened by the truth and he doesn’t want to do that probably for me or other of his clients,” Trump said, per pool reports. “He has other clients also, I assume, and he doesn’t want to tell the truth for me or other of his clients.”

Cohen’s lawyer Lanny Davis said earlier on Wednesday that recent threats against Cohen and his family from Trump and lawyer Rudy Giuliani have caused Cohen to postpone his congressional testimony initially scheduled for February 7.
