NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 16: Adult film actress Stormy Daniels (Stephanie Clifford) prepares to leave Federal Court with her lawyer Michael Avenatti (L) at the United States District Court Southern District of New York after a hearing related to Michael Cohen, President Trump's longtime personal attorney and confidante, April 16, 2018 in New York City. Cohen and lawyers representing President Trump are asking the court to block Justice Department officials from reading documents and materials related to his Cohen's relationship with President Trump that they believe should be protected by attorney-client privilege. Stormy Daniels and her lawyer Michael Avennati have made amends following public indications the porn actress might be looking for new legal representation following Avenatti’s arrest for suspicion of domestic violence.

In a tweet on Sunday, Daniels said she and Avenatti had “sorted shit out.”

Avenatti responded to the tweet, warning those who might try to “divide us for their own agendas.”

“It’s not going to happen!” he said.

After Avenatti’s arrest, Daniels said she would seek new legal representation if the allegations against her lawyer turned out to be true, but she urged due process. In an interview with the Daily Beast last week, Daniels indicated she may seek new representation and bashed Avenatti for filing the defamation case against President Trump “against my wishes.”
