A tie-free and tense Sean Spicer — apparently flustered by Trump campaign aide Katrina Pierson or off kilter for … some other reason — was a guest on BlazeTV’s coverage of the State of the Union live from the bar at the Trump Hotel on Tuesday evening.
Seemingly glowing from his ex-boss’ SOTU performance (or, just booze), the former White House press secretary had a harder time than usual expressing his “love” for President Trump. He spluttered his way through a series of nonsensical remarks about Pierson’s “real serious insightful insights,” his love for “velvet” and how much “fun” he’s having on seanspicer.com before deciding a live TV appearance was an opportune time to literally pet Blaze host Eric Bolling’s jacket.
Bolling, for his part, tried to keep Spicer focused as he harped on how long Pierson’s been on the “train,” but the attempts were futile.
“What are you talking about Bolling!” Spicer shouted when Bolling confessed he didn’t like Spicer’s politics. “Just stop, listen to me!”
The interview was, thankfully, streamed live and captured by Twitter for those who missed the rowdy affair.
BTW it seems like Spicer had some drinks during #SOTU before his appeareance on BlazeTV lol pic.twitter.com/nFpv6wCxUl

Live on BlazeTV: After saying he turned down Trump's offer to come back to the White House, a drunk-seeming Sean Spicer comments on Eric Bolling's suit: "I never knew Target had good clothes like that." A super uncomfortable-looking Bolling mutters: "Target? Armani."#SOTU pic.twitter.com/P9SBdkcEJZ
