Senate Unanimously Passes Resolution: The Press Is Not Enemy Of The People

A Senate resolution declaring that the press is not the enemy of the people passed by unanimous consent on Thursday, which “condemns the attacks on the institution of the free press” as an “attack on the democratic institutions of the United States.”

According to a Thursday CBS report, the motion was introduced by Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI).

    Gosh, I just don’t understand why I still feel all cold inside as I watch our frothing president continuouly attack the same press those brave Republicans joined the Democrats to say they think is important.

    Golly, surely after this they’ll be even braver and start to push back on our president as he continuously violates our country while simultaneously delivering to them everything they’ve dreamed of wanting. Right?
