House Intelligence chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) slammed President Donald Trump on Sunday for claiming that he could ask the Attorney General Bill Barr to investigate 2020 rival Joe Biden.
“Here the President of the United States is saying it’s perfectly okay for him — and he has said this before — to go to the attorney general and get them to open an investigation of his rivals,” Schiff said during a “This Week” interview on ABC. “Sadly, this attorney general has turned out to be so political and so partisan and so frankly without integrity, he just might do it.”
The House Intel chairman told George Stephanopoulos that going after Biden’s son is “just a method of going after someone the President believes is his most formidable opponent.”
Schiff brought up Rudy Giuliani’s now-cancelled trip to Ukraine in order to seek push for an investigation in Hunter Biden’s business dealings in the country.
“We cannot make this the new norm, that if you can’t win an election on your own, it’s fine to seek help from a foreign power,” said Schiff.

We should Impeach Trump as soon as possible. His criminality must be exposed by that process or some other one equally as effective.

The more Schiff, Nadler and others are out there publicly criticizing in a reasonable way, it will add to the coffers to rid us of this public menace.
The tides will turn, but unlike the natural world tides, it is painfully slow.

Trump is a traitor. Everyone knows this, even the GOP.
Trouble is, the GOP has parsed this and feels packing the Federal bench with alt-right lawyers is worth the risk. And so far there has been little political or criminal risk associated with supporting trump’s anti American actions.
Even with McConnell, the most unpopular politician in America, this means nothing if fat cat elites and alt-right wingnuts get what they want.
