Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) tells reporters he’s willing to start over on a health care reform bill.
“I’m willing to push the reset button,” he said. But, the Kansas City Star reports, Cleaver seemed skeptical about actually starting new legislation this late in the process. He said reform is “too important” to pass without Republican support.
He also said that if health care reform doesn’t get done by the end of the year, it won’t get done at all.
