Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper discussed in her opening statement Wednesday evening of how she found out that President Donald Trump froze the military aid to Ukraine.

I’m surprised she even remembers it. I mean, I hear deals like this are so common that they’re completely unremarkable.

  3. The republicans are trying to have it both ways. They make the point that it was the Trump administration that provided the Ukrainians with lethal weaponry (Javelins) in contrast to Obama. Then they claim that they are concerned about corruption and that is why the aid was held. My question would be why weren’t they concerned with corruption when they provided the Javelins?

  5. They also neglect to mention that the House refused to give Obama the funds to buy more than blankets.
