Pelosi: State Of The Union ‘Is Not Planned Now’

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Friday that the State of the Union address would likely not take place on Tuesday, adding that it was “not planned.”

“The State of the Union is not planned now,” she said during a press conference after President Trump announced the government would reopen for three weeks without funding for his border wall. “What I’d said to the President was when the government is opened we would discuss a mutually agreeable date and I look forward to doing that and welcoming the President to the House of Representatives for the State of the Union when we agree on that mutually agreeable date.”
