President Barack Obama will begin his midterm campaign schedule this weekend, starting by boosting Democratic House candidates in California, then traveling next week to Cleveland to stump with gubernatorial nominee Richard Cordray, according to a Wednesday New York Times report.

In California, the candidates are expected to include all seven who are running in districts currently run by Republicans, but that Hillary Clinton won in 2016.

This month, Obama will reportedly also campaign in Pennsylvania and Illinois, and will hold a fundraising dinner in New York City for the National Democratic Redistricting Committee.
