Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) gave Joe Biden’s touchiness accusations his usual folksy treatment on Wednesday, declaring that “this is no country for creepy old men” (Cormac McCarthy, take note).

In a clip from CBS Evening News, he added that in America everyone gets “due process” and just because Biden has been accused of touching women in ways that made them uncomfortable, it doesn’t mean he necessarily did it.

When asked if he thought it was inappropriate to smell someone’s hair, he was strident. “Yes! I mean, duh!” he responded.

“If someone gets close enough to smell my hair, they may smell my hair but they may lose some teeth!” he added.

A Republican with a sense of humor!

If only he’d use it against his fellow Republicans more often.

  2. Um. Donald Trump?

  3. Can we just agree that no Republican anywhere, ever, gets to lecture anybody about creepy old men.
