According to a recent filing in the ongoing custody battle between former Trump campaign staffers Jason Miller and A.J. Delgado, Miller in 2012 secretly spiked a woman’s drink with an abortion pill after learning she was pregnant following their affair.

Splinter News first reported the filing Friday night and confirmed the document’s authenticity with Delgado, who declined further comment.

In a series of tweets the following day, Miller denied the story and said it “was wrongfully published by the gossip blog Splinter despite the obviousness of its falsity and lack of factual support.” He later tweeted a statement announcing that he was leaving his position as a CNN political commentator “to focus on clearing my name and fighting the false and defamatory accusations being made against me.”

Delgado and Miller had an affair during the 2016 presidential campaign, when they were both working on Trump’s campaign. A couple weeks after Trump was elected, Delgado discovered out she was pregnant. Miller’s wife was expecting, too. Before long, Miller and Delgado were locked in a bitter public feud.

Per Splinter, the filing earlier this month said that in 2012 Miller met a dancer, referred to as Jane Doe, at a strip club in Orlando and began a sexual relationship with her.

Once Doe became pregnant, per a portion of the filing quoted by Splinter: “Mr. Miller visited her at her apartment with a Smoothie beverage. Unbeknownst to Jane Doe, the Smoothie contained an abortion bill [sic]. The pill induced an abortion, and Jane Doe wound up in a hospital emergency room, bleeding heavily and nearly went into a coma. The unborn child died. Jane Doe herself was hospitalized for two days, the abortion pill possibly reacting with potential street drugs in her system at the time she drank the Smoothie.”

Responding to Splinter’s story, Miller’s legal team denied its accuracy and told Splinter: “We also know the identity of the ‘Jane Doe’ referenced in the filing, have located her, and Mr. Miller is absolutely certain that he does not know her, never had a relationship with her, and never engaged in the actions Ms. Delgado—and now you—falsely accuse him of committing.”

As part of his response on Twitter to the story, Miller said “one reporter who Ms. Delgado attempted to involve in her continuous attempts to smear me” had “already” disproven her allegation in the filing.

Journalist Yashar Ali later said that Miller “is referring to me in this tweet” but that “I have not disproven such claims and to say so is inaccurate.”

TPM reached out to Miller to determine who he was referring to in that tweet, and whether any published material exists contradicting the filing.

Have we entered a time warp back to the 1300’s?

  4. “…published by the gossip blog Splinter despite the obviousness of its falsity…”

What an odd phrase. I cannot see anything in the report, or Miller’s statement, that makes that at all obvious.

  5. So he hooked up with a stripper, impregnated her and aborted the child himself, nearly killing the woman in the process.

    Got it.
