Are we really doing this again, Jacob?
Conservative activists Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman promised to hold a press conference on Wednesday to refute reports that they completely made up an allegation of sexual assault against 2020 Democratic candidate Pete Buttigieg.
But lo! “Hundreds of leftist protestors” were planning on ambushing the conference, Burkman warned on Monday in a tweet that included an Eventbrite link to the alleged protest.
“We WILL NOT surrender to the mob!” Burkman vowed.
But Mediaite reporter Justin Duckham noticed something fishy: The Eventbrite page listed “wohlthinktank@gmail.com” as the event organizer, an email address belonging to none other than Jacob Wohl himself.

Mediaite reports that after Duckham contacted the email address, the host’s name was changed to “Amy Green Tompkins.”
Eventbrite later deleted the page altogether, telling Mediaite that “the activity associated with this account constituted a violation of our policy around inauthentic content.”
This episode adds to the ever-growing list of Wohl’s borderline pathological attempts to use fake social media accounts and bogus press conferences to smear President Donald Trump’s enemies.
Are we really doing this again, Jacob?
NARRATOR: Yes. Sadly we are. Some people are just slow learners.
inauthentic content
AKA the only content Wohl and Burkman have.
Remember when Wohl tried to take the Mueller investigation down by holding a press conference at a Holiday Inn and his buddy Jack Burkman had his fly open the whole time on live national television?
Not exactly the best and brightest, this one.
“And then he ran into my knife. He ran into my knife ten times…”
