Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX) said Sunday that he would vote for another term for President Donald Trump, or whoever gets the Republican nomination, even if his friend, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, runs for and wins the Democratic primary.
“Unless Beto O’Rourke decides to run as a Republican, which I don’t think he’s planning on doing,” Hurd told CNN’s Jake Tapper.
Hurd has been critical of Trump at times, and an hours-long, livestreamed road trip he took with O’Rourke from San Antonio to Washington, D.C. in 2017 raised the profiles of both congressmen.

Partei over country for these mofos. Always.
Another chapter in the book: Smart Guy/Gal Deviates Downward into a Craven Politician
He refuses to recognize that the misery that is Trump includes the wreckage of institutions, agencies, courts, regulations, and ethics in the wake driven by the wave of degenerate GOP politics magnified by a malignant narcissist. Dumb.
Wow, what a new worthy story a Republican says he will vote for the GOP candidate in 2020.
What’s up next? Water is wet?
This is more about Hurd’s political future, not Beto’s or Donald’s or anyone else. Self-serving. Oh, and he’s from Texas…
In other words, the party label means everything. The character of the candidate is irrelevant. Got it.
