Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, a stalwart ally of President Donald Trump, parroted the party line after the Cohen-Trump bombshell and trashed the outlet that broke the story, BuzzFeed News.
“BuzzFeed is the equivalent of those tabloids you buy at the grocery store on the way out that introduce you to martians,” Gingrich told the “Fox and Friends” crew Friday, “and tell you the story of three stars who had anguished lives you never knew about.”
“To take BuzzFeed seriously is a sign of how desperate we are for news,” Gingrich added.
