That didn’t go quite as planned for Fox News.
During a town hall Monday with Bernie Sanders, anchor Bret Baier asked the audience a question about insurance.
“This audience has a lot of Democrats in it. It has Republicans, independents, Democratic socialists, conservatives. I want to ask the audience a question, if you could raise your hand here, a show of hands of how many people get their insurance from work, private insurance, right now? How many get it from private insurance?”
Quite a few hands went up.
“Of those, how many are willing to transition to what the senator says, a government-run system?” Baier asked.
Even more hands went up, along with cheers and hoots and hollers.

I think lawyers in court cases say “Know how the witness will answer before asking the question.”
GOP are too stupid to realize that Universal Healthcare (whatever you want to call it) is highly popular among voters, not just Dems/Progressives
That would make a good campaign ad for Bernie!
“Of those, how many are willing to transition to what the senator says, a government-run system and pay for it with higher taxes?” Baier asked.
“Of those, how many are willing to transition to what the senator says, a government-run system and no longer have the option of private insurance?” Baier asked.
Intended or not, that was probably Bernie’s best moment in that town hall.
