The Fox and Friends hosts, some of the most influential unofficial advisers to President Donald Trump, cheered the tentative compromise brokered by members of Congress Monday, though it would give him a mere fraction of the funding he has asked for.
“Keep in mind, Democrats didn’t want him to build one mile,” host Steve Doocy said.
“This is a big step, right?” chimed in Ainsley Earhardt.
“I think the President is going to say you know what? I will take that number right there, $1.4 billion for 55 miles of border wall, and then I bet he has got something up his sleeve,” Doocy added.
The compromise would give Trump $1.375 billion for wall construction, far short of the $5.7 billion he has demanded.

Some of Trump’s media influencers have been less supportive of the deal. Close ally Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) said that he doubted “[Trump] will be applauding” a deal “so lacking” and Fox News host Sean Hannity called it a “garbage compromise.”

Ooh what a set up, intra-faux-news channel fighting. Who has more sway over Trump old fat Sean or Ainsley’s short hemlines?
What a dilemma for the abomination - go with F&F, or go with Hannity. Has Coulter weighed in?
Nothing like a circle jerk firing squad.
Wikipedia says the Mexico-US border is 2067mi. I don’t know how much of that we’ve fortified, but at the current going rate, if it were zero, $1.37B down and only about $50B to go!
Feel the fiscal conservatism!
You should need Senate approval to work on Fox at this point. Cabinet of dullards and morons and all.
