Outgoing Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) on Sunday expressed frustration that his bill to protect special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation isn’t seen “as a priority” by his colleagues.
“How in the world my colleagues don’t see this as a priority now I just don’t understand,” Flake said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
The senator stuck by his threat to block Trump administration judicial nominees until the bill is brought to the Senate floor for a vote.
“It does need to come to the Senate floor, and I think it’s worth using a little leverage here,” Flake said.

Oh, Jeff, if you haven’t figured it out by now…
What an idiot.
And I just don’t understand how an adult, much less a sitting US Senator with no re-election concerns, can be such a feckless, weak-minded person.
The world is a mysterious place indeed.
Presidential Timber right there, for sure.
I have come to the conclusion that Flake is totally sincere about everything he says, he’s just also very likely the most naïve and simple-minded person to ever serve in the Senate.
But no matter. After January we will never hear another thing about him, ever.
He still thinks the Reagan doctrine “never speak ill of a fellow republican” is applicable to the current stunted and malicious majority.
