Finnish President Sauli Niinistö made a pointed remark about democracy during his press conference with President Donald Trump on Wednesday.

And the comment sure seemed like a subtle dig at Trump, who is engulfed in political scandal over his campaign to lean on foreign countries to advance his political goals.

In his opening remarks, Niinistö mentioned he had visited the American History Museum, National Museum of African American History and Culture, and National Museum of the American Indian in D.C.

“Mr. President, you have here a great democracy,” the Finnish president told Trump. “Keep it going on.”
