DETROIT (AP) — A federal judge who was shot in the leg outside his Detroit home during an apparent robbery attempt is scheduled for surgery and expected to make a full recovery.
Anita Sevier gave the update Friday morning about her husband Judge Terrence G. Berg to WWJ-AM.
Police said they are seeking two young men in Thursday night’s attack. They say they think Berg was shot in an attempted robbery, not because of his work as a judge, but police and federal agents are investigating.
President Barack Obama appointed him in 2012 and Berg’s court is in Flint. Berg previously served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Born in Detroit in 1959, he also was chief of the high-tech crime unit in the Michigan Attorney General’s Office.

Just a boring, routine, predictable, new norm type of gun story.
I think the deal is that by 2020 the guns will become self aware, hold even the military hostage, take over our nuclear capabilities after shooting the whole nation’s legs, then launch project “Guns Win” and annihilate all anti-gunners in one huge explosion. Of course, like all gun logic, the guns will also perish leaving behind nothing but underground fracking and Skynet.
The fracking idiots will undoubtedly go off the rails leaving nothing but video from above that will be distributed by the new net on nuclear proof Iphones to pod people that are hooked up and lived because they were in the only safe location known to mankind, there mama’s basement. The nerds win, the nerds win!
Overlook these smallish gun incidents at your own peril.
