Billy Bush’s media exile after the “Access Hollywood” tape is apparently over.
The former co-host of NBC’s “Today” show was fired in October 2016 after the release of a 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape, which featured President Donald Trump bragging about “grabbing” women “by the pussy” while Bush laughed and egged him on.
Less than three years later, Bush told People magazine on Wednesday that he’ll be hosting “Extra Extra,” a syndicated Warner Brothers entertainment show.
Bush said that the tape was a “bad moment.”
“But one moment doesn’t define your life,” he added.
If Trump could be president despite(or because of?) the tape, then Billy Bush should consider running for office in 2020.
So the “Proper” response should have been…?
probably not play into it - but honestly, when a public figure suddenly goes bizarre - and you host a gossip show biz show … and the public figure is really nothing more than a cartoonish snarky sassy buffoonish egomaniac (which is all he was in 2005 … when this all went down Trump was simply seen as the shallow ass-clown who hosted the Apprentice) … what are you supposed to do? stop dead in your tracks and conduct a morality lecture?
Billy Bush was just another piece of collateral damage in the wake of Trump’s speed-boating through a sea of sludge!
Yes–but fuck him anyway.
Yes… of course …
