Former Vice President Joe Biden apologized for not better understanding when he has made women uncomfortable in the past with physical displays of affection or support during an impromptu gaggle with reporters on Friday.
“I’m sorry I didn’t understand more, I’m not sorry for any of my intentions,” he said. “I’ve never been disrespectful intentionally to a man or a woman.”
Biden has come under fire from some on the left for his past history of invading others’ personal space and not apologizing for it. Biden released a video earlier this week saying he would be better about recognizing when it’s appropriate and not appropriate to touch people.
Biden has not yet announced whether he intends to run for president in 2020.

Hey editors, I think we have plenty of Biden stories today already…
Huh. A literal sorry-not-sorry. I guess he really is your straight-shooter, unvarnished type.
I wish Joe would figure out for himself that time has passed him by in terms of running for president, rather than having to be reminded of it on a daily basis in the press.
Will there ever be a time when people understand that nobody gives a shit about your intentions? Your intentions have nothing to do with how what you did was perceived. Particularly with physical contact. I don’t like any physical contact- hugs, whatever. I don’t even want to shake hands with people. All that addendum does is show you don’t take the matter seriously, that you think it’s an inconvenience. It’s trivializing the offense because you don’t understand how someone could be offended by what you did. Biden is showing he doesn’t have the goods- I really need a president with some modicum of self-reflection ability next time.
HAHAHAHA! And he keeps it alive for another 24 while stepping in it yet again! What a campaign genius! What next? Stating that he’s going to start grabbing them in the you-know-what as a way to be bipartisan, “reach” across the aisle and win over Republican’t voters?
